I started doing internal systems, somatic, and energy after I realized “I’m the problem, it’s me.” Specifically, my beliefs, disconnections, and perceptions that were keeping trauma stuck in my body and causing so much anger, grief and sadness. Though much of what happened to us is not our fault, it is in our power to heal.

The process works quickly and is so effective because we find simple ways to integrate this learning into your daily life.

Using a blend of intuitive assessment, clinical therapy, education, bodywork, energy psychology, parts work, and other somatic and spiritual practices, we’ll get down to your core belief system and work with the body to release subconscious attachments to the pain and trauma so you can experience your true potential.

  • Somatic Experiencing

    Somatic therapy is a form of body-centered therapy that brings awareness of the mind-body connection to the consciousness. It is a blend of psychotherapy, physical therapies, breathwork, mind-body exercises for holistic healing. It creates a safe space to release the pent-up tension and emotions that can be stored deep in the body systems from injury, prenatal, or pre-verbal trauma.

  • Energy Psychology

    Energy psychology is a mind-body therapy that rapidly reduce stress and trauma while increasing calm. Calming the body (where stress is stored) is a missing key to unlocking rapid change. Energy psychology methods combine cognitive, somatic, acupressure, and energy testing techniques that influence the human bio-energy systems such as meridians, chakras and the biofield to elevate physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.     Our Body is a multicellular organism, everything is connected, and has a unique purpose in your emotional, physical, and mental health. The cells do not have any malicious or immoral intent. So why do we hate and disconnect from our bodies? Or think our body hates us? Your Heart holds the key to intuitive guidance, alignment, and connecting to desires. Through education and awareness of how the systems that keep us alive are communicating every minute and how to support, nurture and send them the signals they need to thrive.   • Mindfulness

    Mindfulness is a state of active, open attention to the present. This state is described as observing one’s thoughts and feelings without judging them as good or bad. Not just the act of meditation, but the practice of becoming more aware and conscious in daily life. Ninety five percent of behavior is driven by the subconscious. When we are present and able to be with our emotions without automatic responses, behavior becomes a choice and that grows a sense of empowerment and control in the Self.

  • Internal Family Systems/Parts Therapy

    Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a systems approach which provides a beautiful framework for how we understand our unique system and our role in many other systems. It identifies Parts within each person’s mental system that often act from a subconscious drive. The subconscious can consist of wounds that hold painful emotions (like shame and guilt), and parts that try to protect the person or manage triggers in everyday life. The parts can be in conflict with each other and have suffered a break from the core Self, the qualities every individual is born with of compassion, creativity, connectedness. This break is at the heart of our disconnection from our true self and body. Compassion is the Key.
